Choose your drying hopper
The Arid-X 10 is available with three hopper sizes to match your application. Mounting the drying hopper directly on the press or extruder keeps resin dry at the throat with no moistre regain, so material reaches the screw perfectly dried. Choose your hopper based on throughput
- 5-pound hopper for up to 2 to 3 pounds per hour
- 15-pound hopper for up to 5 to 6 pounds per hour
- 30-pound hopper for up to 10 pounds per hour
Castered floor stands
Castered floor stands are available for portability between machines, so one dryer can move from press to press as your schedule changes
Advanced Dryer Control
ADC control comes standard and includes a -49°F dewpoint monitor and a 7-day timer for automatic starts and stops, along with a high temperature alarm and shutdown. Optional temperature setback prevents over drying
Automatic loading
Our CAL compressed air loaders handle automatic loading of the drying hopper for continuous operation, so the press keeps running without anyone topping up the hopper by hand.

The Arid-X 10 is also available on a portable cart with the drying hopper for an off the press drying solution.
Energy efficiency
The series runs 30 to 50% more energy efficient than wheel dryers. AI based regeneration adapts dryer operation to your plant and material conditions, and a single blower design serves both process and regeneration air. Dri-Air uses dry air rather than ambient air for regeneration, which keeps the desiccant dry throughout the cycle and delivers dewpoints from -49°F to -130°F
Press mounted drying hoppers
Combining the dryer with a press or extruder mounted drying hopper gives you a complete drying system that keeps resin dry at the throat with no moisture regain. Press mounted hoppers keep dried material dry right at the process, and loaders are available for automatic loading from bags or Gaylords
Sizing your drying hopper
